Welcome Home
Wow, it has been a long time since I wrote on this thing. I plan to, a lot, but time seems to escape me and things have a way of continuing to go undone. While the house is quiet now, I will take some time to share the most wonderful event that occurred this year. My brother has returned home. In one piece. Handsome as ever. With his smile still on. He's home. Words cannot describe what he has been through. We will never know his struggles and sorrow. But for now, I will thank God that we have him back.

On account of the fact that my kid pulled my space bar off and now it sticks a lot, I have been real frustrated with my computer and don't feel much like making the effort to push my left thumb down extra hard in order to make a space between each word, I haven't blogged much lately. Is that a run on?
However, I couldn't wait to put a new pic up to show off their royal cuteness.

Cute
Micah was getting a popsicle out of the freezer, and I said to her, "Who told you that you could get a popsicle?"
Her response, " I told myself."
A bit later, when told to come take a bath, she appeared in the hall sitting on a broom with a Chinese yo-yo in her hand.
She simply stated, "I am a witch and witches don't take bafs."

Ditto

When we went to Colorado last week, I went grocery shopping at the Safeway (my first time going to this store.) Since I am addicted to something lemon lime and diet, I made the generic purchase of the store brand diet lemon lime soda. It was divine. I actually think it tasted better than the name brand diet lemon lime which I won't mention here because I wouldn't want to hurt its feelings.
Anyway, about the 3rd day I was drinking this divine beverage, I realized its name was Diet Ditto. Fascinating. I don't know why it tickled me so. Maybe because I often say, "ditto," to my husband when he says, "I love you," Or "I miss you." Or maybe it was something that just made me chuckle and was funny to say. Or maybe it was because the discovery of the name was shared with someone who equally enjoyed (or pretended to) the moment.
Traveling home from the trip, we stopped at a fast food restaurant to get lunch, and I asked Micah what she would like to drink. "Diet Dr. Ditto," she replied. She looked at me so matter of factly, then she began to laugh so hard. It was almost as if she was making fun of my fascination of this drink. Clearly at 3, she was not. Right?
